Never burn a candle for longer than three hours, cool for at least two hours before relighting. Never leave a candle unattended, keep it away from anything that can catch fire. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Don't burn a candle all the way down. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle, it's the safest way to prevent wax from splattering.
